Gunschu is building the world’s best career enhancement platform. Initially this includes creating a platform for coaches (Executive, Mentor Coaches, Career, Life Coaches, Social-Digital Coaches) to match with people looking to enhance their career and life. Eventually, it will grow to ensure people get the most out of their life, find the right career and disrupt how hiring and skills enhancement is done. We are currently a four-person LLC startup building an app, website and Artificial Intelligence platform. Their team has worked at companies like Google, USAA, Chase, Harrahs Entertainment and other startups.

The positions we are posting for are: Social Media/Marketing Internship and Developer Internship. These are currently unpaid internships that run from an immediate time frame through the fall semester, but can be extended to all-year. As we grow, there will be the possibility to take on a paid role either part-time or full-time, but we cannot guarantee this at this time. Please see below for more details, including responsibilities/duties and qualifications:

Social Media/Marketing Internship

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Working with the team to help define the marketing strategy
  • Creating social media content
  • Assisting with the mentor from afar podcast and learning how to work in a startup environment
  • Most communications will be done during the evening and through their slack channel.
  • They are open to hours worked per week, but initially will require 5 to 10 hours per week (subject to change).

Qualifications:

  • Communication degree or similar
  • Has interest and experience developing content for major social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, and Medium).

Software Developer Internship

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or interested in computer programming or cloud/dev-ops.
  • Interested in learning on the job about the web/app development process, cloud deployments and startup IT development in general.
  • Some familiarity with computer programming or app development will be a plus.

Machine Learning Developer Intern

Responsibilities/Duties:

  1. Working with our development team on our machine learning algorithms and data.
  2. Building prototypes using experimental technology.

Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing or interested in Computer programming or cloud/devops.
  2. Interested in learning on the job about the machine learning development lifecycle process, cloud deployments.
  3. Some familiarity of computer programming or app development, specifically with Python would be a plus.
